Reading Revival
Reading Revival has been singing together since 2011. We sing many types of music but our passion is singing gospel music in the barbershop style.
Ron Fabian, Tenor
Ron has been a member of the Pretzel City Chorus for 17 years, singing both tenor and baritone, but not at the same time. He has sung with two other registered quartets and a mixed quartet. When not singing, he can usually not be found because he and his wife are traveling somewhere.
Gary Mishler, Lead
Gary joined the chorus in 2011. He also plays trombone in several local groups, including the Berkshire Brass and Reading Pops Orchestra. Spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren, exercising, and reading are favorite activities when he’s not making music.
Russ Amalong, Baritone
Russ has been singing barbershop for 31 years. This is his second chorus affiliation and his third registered quartet. He is a retired Industrial Arts teacher and keeps himself busy in his wood shop at home, traveling and singing.
Charlie Lehman, Bass
Charlie has sung in several different barbershop chapters and quartets. He is currently a member of the Reading, Pottstown, and Bryn Mawr barbershop chapters. It’s hard to believe, but Charlie has been singing barbershop for more than 53 years!
