Counterpoint has been together since 2018 and includes Reading Pretzel City Chorus members: Mike Cramer, tenor; Zach Kuhn, lead; Bob Focht, baritone; and Gary Mishler, bass.
Mike Cramer, Tenor
Mike has been singing with the Pretzel City Chorus for more than 14 years, and is the current chorus President. Mike's first experience in a barbershop quartet was in his high school's production of "The Music Man". When he's not singing, he loves to travel with his wife and daughter.
Zach Kuhn, Lead
Zach has only been barbershopping for a few years, having gained most of his experience as the Director of the Pretzel City Chorus. He loves the expressive and emotive nature of barbershop. Zach is currently studying composition with Marti Epstein and Ben Newhouse at the Berklee College of Music, and is hoping to transfer his talents into a career in composition for film or television.
Bob Focht, Baritone
Bob has been singing baritone with the Pretzel City Chorus for more than 20 years. Because Bob is a baritone, nobody but his cat (Champ) cares about him! Although, Champ hides when Bob sings around the house...
Gary Mishler, Bass
Gary, in addition to singing with Pretzel City, also loves performing with the Hershey chapter, Parkside Harmony. He is a retired music teacher and enjoys playing trombone in various local groups.
