Gary Mishler
Assistant Chorus Director
Gary Mishler was a music educator for 36 years.
For the last 24 years of teaching, he taught high school choral music in the Twin Valley School District. His interest in barbershop music began as a l0th grader when his high school choral director asked him to be part of a quartet. Gary has directed numerous high school barbershop groups, loves barbershopping, and is now the Assistant Musical Director of the Pretzel City Chorus.
Gary also plays trombone in several local groups, including the Berkshire Brass and Reading Pops Orchestra. Spending time with his family, playing with his grandsons, exercising, and reading are favorite activities when he's not making music.
